  • Choir Singing in the Local Community

    Tue 18 Dec 2018

Our choir have brought such Christmas cheer to our local community.  They have received wonderful feedback from the venues where they have performed.  They have performed for the Rotary Club at the Holiday Inn; two different local care homes and even managed to squeeze in a concert to parents!

    Here's some photographs of them.

    Extreme Reading Christmas Competition

At Larchfield School, we encourage our children to read as much as they can. There is some fantastic reading going on and this has led us to think up this amazing competition.

We are asking the children to bring in a photo of themselves reading in the most unusual place that they can think of.

In the past, we have had children reading in their pet’s beds, up a mountain and even abseiling.

Where can you find yourself reading? Bring your photo in by Friday 11th January 2019. Alternatively, you can send your photo into the school e-mail (larchfield@larchfieldschool.co.uk) and we will print it off for you

The winners will be announced and prizes given out during Celebration Assembly on Friday 18th January.

    GOOD LUCK!
