Sally Lupton
My name is Sally Lupton and I live with my husband, John, in Furze Platt. I joined the school’s governing body in September 2023.
I have recently retired after teaching languages, in senior schools, for thirty years. While my own children were young, I worked briefly in a middle school, and I gave French classes to nursery aged children as well as serving four years as a Governor in a local nursery. While working in schools, I had experience of running a department, writing schemes of work, and organising school trips abroad. In my spare time, I am a member of a book club, I enjoy walking my labrador, and, for something different, I am an administrator for a group which provides volunteers who install and give advice on insulation!
