Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website. Here at Larchfield we pride ourselves on being an inclusive school within the heart of our community. Our school plays an important part in developing trust, openness and strong links with our families and community. We endeavour to meet the needs of all our children. Our school family is diverse; something that we feel is our strength and are proud of. We have great facilities and space which is used to offer our children support and to develop and extend their learning. Our children and staff are very proud to wear the Larchfield badge and they work hard to earn their house points, super commendations and termly awards.
All our children are challenged, regardless of their academic level. Although the academic achievement is something that can be measured, it is the importance of developing the whole child and their resilience that prepares them for the future; learning to live is a vital component in the education of our children.
Our aim is to ensure that all our children develop independence, resilience and readiness for the next stage of their lives. Our belief that ‘our children are at the centre of all we do’, is an ethos we hold dear in our everyday lives and through this we always strive to improve ourselves as a school and as learners.
We have 3 over arching values at Larchfield: Safe, Respectful and Responsible.
Please feel free to contact us and come through our gates and see what we do, you will find a school that is dedicated to ensuring that our children and families are paramount and at the heart of everything we do. It is only through building the links and communication with our families that our school goes from strength to strength.
