What do you think of our wonderful displays which are up in school?
We have a Book Week "Bug Board" in the main school reception area. So much fun through the world of books and linking learning.
It was difficult to fit all of our great Science Day learning across the school onto one board!
Our "Hot Chocolate with Mrs Kearney" is a special time for children to sit down with a hot chocolate and have a chat with Mrs Kearney.
Each week (and not every class will nominate a pupil every week) the Class Teachers nominate a child from their class who has worked exceptionally hard, and really gone above and beyond in terms of effort and hard work.
The hot chocolate rewards are very hard to achieve, and if your child has been awarded one, it means they have shown some brilliant learning and worked their very best.
This week's superstars enjoyed a chat and a hot choccy as a reward for their superb effort in school.
Last week's superstars were Lily, Kenza and Rakshitha.
This week's superstars are: Toni and Jessica who were also joined by Mrs Lattimer, our Chair of Governors.
Wow! The children (and staff!) made a superb effort on our World Book Day dressing up day on Friday which we held in school.
Everywhere we looked there were oompa-loompas, princesses, hungry caterpillars, Tudor children and all sorts of other costumes!
It was a wonderful day and we were so pleased to see how the costumes linked in to the childrens' learning.
What a superb effort - that is real "deeper learning".
This week's 'Hot Chocolate with the Headteacher' award goes to the following pupils who made an outstanding effort with their learning this week.
Well done to all 5 of our pupils for this special commendation.
Have a look at our winning entries from the "Writing a blurb competition"
All of our children put in so much effort and we were really proud of them all - it was very difficult to pick a winning entry from each class.
Well done!
