06.06.25 - Computing. We learnt some skills including how to save, how to split screen and to research about an artist!
In Science, we were exploring roots and had fun ripping up weeds... in true gardener style.
We have planted some veg! We are hoping to be able to eat them in the next academic year.

The final product :), Y3 are very proud of their work and have told me how much they enjoyed making them.
27.2.25 Art - Today we created the lids for our Canopic Jars. We used clay to model the head of one of the 4 canopic jars the Egyptians used.
RE - We looked at what happens if we do wrong and had great debates about the religious and non-religious guidance.
Year 3 have started their measurement topic! We looked at cm, mm and m.
Multi-faith day ~An opportunity to learn about other faiths
An excellent opportunity for Year 3 to learn how to keep themselves and others safe near the roads.
Science! Y3 have focused on N and S and key words such as attract and repel. We enjoyed testing items to see if they were magnetic.
24.01.25 (Y3 went to Windsor Great Park! We had lots of fun and learnt lots about busy bees and pretty plants... Just in time for our summer topic!)

07.01.25 - Year 3 have learnt about the importance of rules and put this into action with games of snakes and ladders!

18.11-22.11 - art and science focus! We focused on an investigation about our legs and arms.
11.11-15.11 - another busy week of learning! Music was a big hit where the class performed the soundtrack.
24.10 - a very fun and busy week! Cooking, painting, designing and posing. Have a lovely week off.
23rd October. Today we created a Stonehenge silhouette painting using our knowledge of tonal shading.
17th September. Today we investigated how files are requested and sent through the school network.
