My name is Aimeé Vickers and I’m very proud to be a Parent Governor here at Larchfield.

I care deeply about the experience, wellbeing, and development of every child at the school, including my son who thrives here, and I want to help make sure every child continues to feel safe, supported and encouraged to grow.

My professional background is in HR, so I bring experience in strategic thinking, people-focused decision making, and creating environments where individuals can reach their full potential, as well as understanding the impact good decisions can have on a community.

I am particularly passionate about diversity and inclusion. Every child should feel that they belong and that their voice matters. I champion inclusive practice in my professional life, and am keen to bring that same commitment to the governing body, helping ensure that decisions reflect the diverse needs of all pupils and families in our school community.

Schools change lives, and I am so proud to be able to play a small part in supporting the staff and leadership team who work so hard for our children.
